Panama City Beach (PCB), FL
In April, I spent a long weekend in Seacrest, Florida for a bachelorette party. We stayed in a home (look at the cool pics) found via Airbnb! For five ladies, this house was the perfect size. It is walking distance (in the same neighborhood) of The Hub. My sister and I ate at Macho Taco. We both got the avocado bowl! I got mine with chicken, and she got hers with mushrooms. It was light and tasty. It was even more enjoyable with our front porch view (go back to the first link to creep on the house again!). To get to and from the beach, we rented a car via Dollar. Our Chevy Cruze was perfect to whip around and park. The closest public beach access was Deer Lake State Park. It was $3 to park a day. The beach was clean and calm. The walk to the beach on the boardwalk is a good 7-9 minutes. We brought our own food and drinks for the day. After spending time at both the beach and the pool, we recharged at Raw & Juicy (YUM). Don't be discouraged, their full menu isn't online. It is 100% worth it -- even with a HUGE line!! No, we didn't just eat the whole time. One evening, we spent watching dolphins on a sunset cruise. There were SO many dolphins. I was extremely surprised. Our last meal was at Amigos 30A. Fabulous. Fantastic. Fun. Go browse their website and text me about how much you want to go. I ate a chicken rice bowl, and my mouth is watering right now for it. Even though I was there from Thursday-Sunday, I found a cute little coffee shop (duhh). Beachy Bean Coffee Co. was so soothing. Since I have been seeing so many families and friends going to PCB since April, I have been texting them about where to go. I hope you, too, can pass this blog on to a family member or friend to make their trip worth it! Oh, and if you are looking for something sweet, go to Sweet Henrietta's. I ordered the soon-to-be bride's cake from there, and the owner delivered it. To top off the weekend, we had a wonderful dinner at Havana Beach Bar and Grill (obsessed). The view alone is outstanding. Please make a reservation and thank me later. Attached to the restaurant is a hotel. We went to the rooftop bar and had a few drinks. The Pearl is little Cuba. The decor and architecture is on point. Airports: St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) --> Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) Airline: Southwest XOXO, Cee
