We didn't go MIA

You already know that my travel buddy and bestie is Josie. She and I have circumnavigated the world together. This year for spring break, we decided we wanted to have another reunion (last SAS (Semester at Sea) reunion was in January) AND stay in the United States.

We brainstormed a lot beginning in November about where we wanted to spend a week in March. Independently, we searched online and spoke with family and friends about various locations.

We chose Miami!

I hadn't been to Miami since I was a teenager....if that. It was time, and I was ready. I knew this experience would be a lot different than my previous trip.

I met Josie on a Sunday afternoon at the Miami International Airport. We stayed in South Beach for four nights and five days.

    • Walking distance to the beach, saved $$ on transportation
    • Easy & safe pick up and drop off Uber/Lyft location

I can't wait to go back to Miami!
