I disembarked. Forever. I left the World Odyssey the morning of April 19.

My friend, my shipmate, my travel buddy Josie and I grabbed a taxi, looked back, and said and waved a few more "see you laters." We are on our own now. We started our new adventure in Germany. This is the first time both of us have been to Europe.

We have explored the past three days. It's been relaxing not having plans. Since we have been on and taken many forms of transportation, we hopped on the nearby train and got off when we felt like it. We did this a lot. We discovered new towns and cities.

We we ran into SASsers. These moments made it seem like we would be getting back on the ship. We aren't. Neither are they. We continued. We met new people. We told our stories.

We've traveled the world together. Now, it's time to do it by ourselves.

Josie, you got this! I love you. Thanks for starting my Europe experience with me.

Travelling to Germany is one of my dreams in life. I would like to enter their country and experience how history reshaped their land. Because I love reading historical records, I know the transition of their country from monarchy to the current government system. I am astounded that a woman named Angela Merkel is running the country as chancellor, a big step towards gender equality. That's the reason why I went at the German Embassy to apply a visa going to their magnificent country.
